How To Use Our Products

All ellips products are sulphate free, which means they are safe to use on Brazilian and Micro Keratin treated hair. 

You can use more than one treatment capsule colour - we suggest alternating them after washes as 1 capsule is usually enough for the average head of hair.

Our products are also safe to use on children - we highly recommend using the ellips Milkshake Leave-in Conditioner on kids to reduce tears on hair washing day! 

Curly hair - while our products aren't officially curly girl approved, we’ve had nothing but great responses from our Curly Girl advocates. You’ll find oils like Argan, Jojoba and Aloe Vera in our products - all of which are loved for taming and nourishing curly hair.

How to use ellips Hair Treatments:

1. Wash hair with shampoo and conditioner 
2. Lightly towel dry the hair 
3. Brush hair with a wet brush or comb
4. Open the biodegradable capsule and spread the treatment on your palms
5. Evenly distribute through your hair, starting from the crown down to the ends 
6. Once the bulk of the oil is off your hands, apply the remaining oil to the hair around the face (which tends to frizz)
7. Leave to be absorbed for 10 minutes 
8. Style as normal - you can blow dry or leave to dry naturally 
9. The treatment contains heat protection so there is no need for an additional product

How to use ellips Hair Masks: 

1. Wash hair with shampoo and rinse well 
2. Apply the hair mask in place of conditioner
3. Leave on for a minimum of two minutes, once a week (you can leave it on overnight if your hair needs a deep treatment)
4. Hair masks can also be used daily in place of conditioner 

How to use the ellips Milkshake Leave-in Conditioner:

1. Spray the milkshake onto clean, towel-dried hair
2. Leave to be absorbed for 10 minutes 
3. Style as normal - you can blow dry or leave to dry naturally 
4. The Milkshake is also great to spray onto hair before swimming as it closes the hair cuticles and reduces the amount of water (chlorine/salt) that is absorbed into the hair
5. The product also adds texture to fine hair and is ideal for curly hair that tends to get dry in-between washes
